Bourbon Barrel Moose and Squirrel

At Pizza Co. only, 2007 cask conditioned Bourbon Barrel Moose and Squirrel. We stashed some of our Russian Imperial Stout in Heaven Hill bourbon casks for a couple of months to create this deliscious concoction. Available by the glass only.

While your at Pizza Co., welcome back Workhorse IPA to its original home. As some of you may remember, Workhose IPA was a part of our original Dream IPA contest. Well, with our new beer lineup, Workhorse is being brewed at Pizza Co. year round.

In honor of the inauguration of our 44th President we present:

 

The Audacity of Hops

 

This strong rye ale features 44 lbs of hops in a 7 barrel batch to create a beer worthy of a special event. A small percentage of rye malt in the mash gives this beer further character. Audacity of Hops is the kind of ale that unites beer drinkers from both sides of the aisle.

I was on KXL this weekend chatting about The Audacity of Hops beer and Hop Monkey IPA among other things. The podcast isn't up yet but you should still check out their site. Lisa is a great beer writer and she and Bruce are doing a nice job of getting the "good beer word" out there.

Cheese and Beer Pairing

Steve from Steve's Cheese will be here on January 28th at 7PM for a very special event. We'll pair some of the world's best cheeses with our fine beer.

The tasting will be at 51st and Sandy, upstairs in the Brewer's Lounge. There are only 30 spaces available and reservations are required. Tickets will be $20. New Beer

E.lvis’ S.pecial B.eer

 

Our Extra Special Bitter is considerably hoppier and more flavorful than its English cousin. Brewed in honor of Elvis’ January 8^th  birthday, ESB has “Vegas” loads of fresh hop flavor balanced with subtle caramel malt sweetness.  Cheers to the King.

An amber-coloured ale hopped with imported East Kent Goldings. Smooth, easy drinking and delicious.

Hop Monkey is a balanced, assertively hopped IPA for the discerning beer drinker. Brewed with Northwest grown barley and hops, this beer features a citrusy hop aroma that’s complemented by a full, rounded hop flavor.

Imperial IPA

Chad here. Sorry I would have posted something earlier but...

Here's a crazy, fun beer in celebration/despise of the nastiest winter weather this town has seen in decades. OK- we also were a bit appalled by the amount of news coverage said weather pattern received. It was like the end of the Earth or something. Thus, we present to you:

Arctic Apocalypse

This is an Imperial IPA with a twist. It's actually quite black in color. Unlike your normal super big IPA, we did a little something (no artificial ingredients of course) to create a super dark Imperial Black Ale. We swear, in a blind tasting there's no way you'd guess this beer was as dark as night. Of course, all the normals apply- it's super hoppy and super big. Check it our for yourself. Just don't expect the expected.

100+ IBUs
