Workhorse a Winner in Dream IPA Contest

Workhorse_1Head Brewer Chad's Workhorse IPA squeaked out a narrow victory over Brewer Paul's Lucky 7, nudging ahead for the lead with just 3 votes. Thanks everyone who voted and took a try at identifying all 5 IPAs in the blind tasting. Showing what a great field of beer the tasting involved, only 4 customers out of nearly 300 correctly guessed the identity of each of the beers poured last night. For those of you playing along at home:

Beer A was Green Elephant

Beer B was Boss IPA

Beer C was Lucky 7

Beer D was Workhorse

And Beer E was Resin Organic IPA

It was a packed house as you can see by these photos. Thanks to everyone who patiently awaited their sampler tray. I hope you had as much fun as we did. What do ya think? Should we give it a go again next year?

Comments

So they guy who won the contest is also the same guy who counted all the votes. And his name just happens to be "Chad." Hmmmmmmm. I hope he's not "dimpled", "pregant" or "hanging." Can someone say recount? :)
